PARAGOULD, AR - Two of a planned twelve tornado warning sirens have been erected in Paragould. Mayor Mike Gaskill said the city hopes to have all the sirens up, tested and operational by spring. The sirens are the first for the city.
The city council in June authorized the purchase of the sirens, software and hardware. The twelve American Signal-Tempst rotating sirens cost more than $201,000.
