JONESBORO--If you watch Grey's Anatomy, you know this guy... Dr. Mcdreamy. He's a work of fiction, but there are a few doctors in region eight who are the real thing.

We took nominations from local hospitals, picked the top contenders and now it's for you decide.

Who's region 8's 'Dr. Mcdreamy'?  Here's a preview of our top five.

Dr. Jeff Mullen is a Jonesboro Radiologist.

"You might need to get my makeup! I don't have any left," Dr. Jeff Mullen says.

He thinks of himself as a family man with a love for the outdoors. If he hunted it, you can find it on the walls of his office.

This 6'4" McDreamy prefers his boots and Levi's to the typical white coat.

He describes himself as a good father. His greatest love is his wife and three little boys.

"I think everyday you try to make everybody else's life a little bit better. You can do that by being easy to get along with," Dr. Mullen says.

Randolph County's Dr. Scott Lewis is an Emergency Room Physician.

He says he's the doctor with a dry sense of humor and dependable nature.

He takes his job very seriously and is a husband and father of two.

"I like outdoor sports. I like boating hunting a fishing. When I'm not here, I'm doing one of those three things," Dr. Lewis says.

Dr. Frank Schefano is an Anesthesiologist in Paragould.

He says he thinks he was nominated because he is the doctor with the most hair, and even before the interview started, he was trying to bribe us to make him look good.

"I should've brought my wallet because you're probably going to be the guy editing this," Dr. Schefano says!

Dr. Schefano has a wife, two kids and one on the way. He describes himself as stubborn and hardworking but friendly.

"When I'm not being Dr. McDreamy, I like to play golf, read and we spend a lot of time together as a family," Schefano says.

Dr. Nandakishore Dukkipati, AKA Dr. Duke is a Blytheville surgeon.

He was Born in India, and says this isn't the only time he's been noticed for his good looks and charm.

"When I was in college, I did some fashion shows and things like that," Dr. Dukkipati says.

Dr. Duke enjoys golf, painting and outdoor activities. He describes himself as good natured, talented and resourceful.

He's a husband and father of two.

"Having a family to go home to... That's the best thing in life," Dr. Dukkipati says.

Dr. Sanders McKee is a Jonesboro Family Practitioner. He's a Jonesboro native and comes from a family of docs, but being McDreamy isn't a role he's used to.

"It's a little embarrassing. I'm probably red right now," Dr. McKee says.

He loves to travel, workout and laugh a lot.

"People need to laugh and you need a little light heartedness when you talk about medicine. It's always so serious," Dr. McKee says.

In April, Williams Baptist cross country runner Alex Van Herpen competed in the prestigious Boston Marathon. An incredible feat. Learning about his path to get there, it stopped me in my tracks. Five years ago Alex was bound to a wheelchair. in January of 2011, he was diagnosed with strep throat, the flu and mono all within a two week period. For five months Alex was bound to a wheel chair. One day he just got up and walked. Medical experts had no explanation for any of it.  ...
