Rivercrest Student Completes Junior ROTC Leadership Symposium

FORT MONROE, VA - Charles Campbell, a senior from Rivercrest High School in Wilson, was one of only 144 Junior ROTC cadets representing the program's almost 277,000 chosen to attend the second annual George C. Marshall JROTC Leadership Symposium held recently on the campuses of Virginia Military Institute and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. 

THe 36 high schools participating in the symposium activities were selected from a total of 1,645 JROTC units throughout the U.S. and overseas where U.S. military are stationed.

Campbell is a member of the National Honor Society and French Club at Rivercrest, in Arkansas Boy's State, a volunteer for Special Olympics and the American Red Cross.
