Busy Weekend at ASU Athletic Park Could Lead to Traffic, Parking Issues

NOVEMBER 10, 2006 - Posted at 3:53 p.m. CST

JONESBORO, AR - With Jazz in Jonesboro at the old ASU track, the ASU football game at Indian Stadium, and the Little Bit'a Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival at the Convocation Center, traffic and parking are expected to be issues Saturday on and near the ASU campus.

Paid parking will be closed at the old track, which will host the Jazz in Jonesboro.  The parking lot on the east side of the Convocation Center will encounter heavy traffic, and it's recommended that those wishing to attend Little Bit'a Christmas use the lot on the west side of the Convocation Center.

ASU officials also recommend that those fans headed to the ASU-Middle Tennessee football game use the pay parking lot located next to the Indian Soccer Park.  Football fans are also encouraged to arrive early to offset any time delays they may encounter due to heavy traffic.
