CONWAY, AR - A documentary on one aspect of the Little Rock Central High School desegregation crisis will be shown at the University of Central Arkansas this month. The film recounts events during the 1958-1959 school term, when four Little Rock high schools were closed. Besides Central, Little Rock Hall, Little Rock Technical, and Horace Mann were shut down because of the racial conflict.
Sandra Hubbard of Morning Star Studio in Little Rock produced and directed the documentary in cooperation with Sandra Gordy of the UCA History Department. The screening of the one-hour documentary is scheduled for next Sunday at Reynolds Performance Hall.
