FAYETTEVILLE, AR - A series of strong thunderstorms that boomed across Arkansas this morning came ahead of a cold front that sent temperatures lower across Arkansas.

Most of the state has rain in the forecast for the rest of today.  The National Weather Service says rain changing to snow is possible in the far northwest of the state, as well as parts of the southern and southwest Missouri Ozarks.
