JONESBORO, AR - Jonesboro Fire Chief Aaron Keller and members of the Jonesboro Fire Department will greet and serve customers at the McDonald's restaurant at 2207 East Nettleton Avenue Friday afternoon, as part of the company's largest fundraiser for children's causes.  The Jonesboro restaurant will celebrate World Children's Day with firefighters behind the counter from 1 to 3 p.m.  Clear Channel radio will also broadcast live from the event.

World Children's Day at McDonald's takes place every November in more than 100 countries to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and other children's causes.  To date, McDonald's and its customers from around the world have raised nearly $75 million for RMHC and other children's causes on World Children's Day.  McDonald's hopes to reach the $100 million mark this year.
