NAFA Plans Weekend Events in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR - Northeast Arkansans for Animals will have a busy weekend for local pets and their owners.

Tomorrow from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., NAFA will host a low-cost canine shot clinic at it's disaster office at 1609 Dan Avenue in Jonesboro.  No appointments are necessary.  Rabies shots will be available for $7, Canine 5-in-1s for $10, and Occult Heartworm tests for $15.  Also, all dogs not on heartworm preventatives will be offered intestinal deworms at no charge.

On Sunday, NAFA will offer free distribution of pet food for qualified applicants from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Dan Avenue location.  You must call 932-1955 to make a reservation for food pick-up.
