LITTLE ROCK, AR - About 25 Arkansas soldiers with the Army Reserve returned home today after a year in Iraq.
The soldiers are with the 392nd Chemical Company. They arrived on a bus from Fort Polk, Louisiana, to a cheering crowd of about 40 family members and friends at the Finkbeiner Army Reserve Center in Little Rock. The company served at Camp Victory in Baghdad where they performed more than 900 convoy escort missions. Lieutenant Kenneth Barrow said the unit was involved in some fighting, but had no casualties in the year of deployment.
