Hunters are Headed to the Pits for Duck Season

Cash, AR -- Duck hunters headed to the pits this weekend to start Duck Season off with a bang.

Bobby Johnson of Cash says this time of year really gets his hunting crew going and this weekend was going to be one of the best.

"I haven't seen this many ducks around this area in 10 years. Everybody should limit out around here come Saturday."

Bobby owns Hunter's Paradise Guide Service where he leases pits for the day.

"I usually take 5-6 people in a pit. We start out with safety and see who has hunted before and who hasn't. Then we get their stuff together, I take them out the pits, and they get to hunt all day or till they limit out. All they need is their waders and shells, and their gun of course."

If you're a dad wanting to take your son duck hunting for the first time, or just need a place to hunt for the day, this is the place to go.

"It's $125 per gun, and kids 15 and under are free. It's just a great way to make memories with your friends and family."
