LITTLE ROCK, AR - State health officials say there have been three deaths in Arkansas from the West Nile virus.
Because of privacy laws, the Arkansas Dept. of Health and Human Services can't say where in the state the deaths occured.
So far this year, there have been 28 confirmed human cases in the state, spread among 18 counties.
Only two Region 8 counties have reported cases of the mosquito-born virus. They are Clay and Lawrence counties.
