JONESBORO, AR - A Craighead County Circuit Court jury will apparently hear the case of a Cross County prosecutor who was arrested on 'driving while intoxicated' charges in September.

According to a "scheduling order" from the Court provided to K8 News this morning by Jonesboro City Attorney Phillip Crego, "The matter is set for jury trial on June 18/19-07.  Both the defendant and his attorney are ordered to appear before the Court at 9:30 a.m. on said dates."

Michael Ladd of Wynne was arrested by a Jonesboro police officer at 1:40 a.m. on September 24, following a traffic stop at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Patrick Street.  Ladd is also charged with 'refusal to submit to a blood alcohol test' and 'impeding the flow of traffic.'
