WASHINGTON - First District Congressman Marion Berry says that four northeast Arkansas counties are eligible for emergency loan assistance following a series of severe storms, high winds, tornadoes and excessive rainfall that swept through the region on September 22. The USDA has issued a formal disaster declaration, making residents and business owners in Craighead, Clay, Greene and Mississippi counties eligible for Farm Service Agency low-interest loans.
Individuals interested in applying for financial assistance should contact their local FSA office within the next eight months to receive emergency assistance. The addresses and contact information for the affected counties are as follows...
