No Heat Shuts Down Forrest City High School

FORREST CITY, AR - Forrest City High School is closed today because too many heating units are broken.

The decision was made yesterday after near-freezing temperatures made the school too cold for teachers and students.  The closure gave the students an extra day of Thanksgiving break.

School officials say enough heating units will be fixed when classes resume on Monday.

The building has 150 heating units.
