Most Questions Remain Unanswered in Deadly Fire that Killed Ten

ANDERSON, Mo. (AP) - Key questions remain unanswered today as the investigation continues into a fire that killed ten people at a southwest Missouri group home for the elderly and mentally ill.

A day after the blaze broke out, there was no word from authorities about the possible cause or details of the blaze.

Investigators and Governor Blunt have said the fire at the Anderson Guest House is being treated as a crime, but it still may prove to be an accident.

The names and information about the victims also was being withheld because the Missouri State Highway Patrol is having trouble reaching families of two of the victims.

How the victims died, and whether they were asleep at the time of the blaze also is being investigated.
