SPRINGDALE, AR - Trucking magnate J.B. Hunt remains in critical condition today at a northwest Arkansas hospital.

The 79-year-old Hunt was hospitalized after he was injured in a fall.

Hunt is the founder of J.B. Hunt Transport Services, the nation's largest publicly-traded truckload carrier.  Northwest Medical Center-Springdale spokeswoman Lisa Anderson says Hunt remains in critical condition in the hospital's intensive care unit.

Hunt stepped down as senior chairman of the company in December 2004, nine years after retiring as chairman of the board.
