LITTLE ROCK (AP) - Retired Army General Wesley Clark says he's writing a book that will deal with different aspects of America that he's lived through. But the Little Rock native, who ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004, says it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be running again, though the book is to be published next year.
Clark said the book will talk about his growing up in the South and about Vietnam and the Army, as well as rebuilding the Army and the post-Cold War world.
The book will be Clark's third. In 2003, he published ``Winning Modern Wars: Iraq, Terrorism and the American Empire,'' which focused on the war in Iraq and national security. His 2001 book, ``Waging Modern War: Bosnia, Kosovo, and the Future of Combat,'' recounted his time as NATO commander in Kosovo.
