LITTLE ROCK (AP) - Governor Huckabee is to join the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity during a ceremony this afternoon. The term-limited governor and potential 2008 presidential candidate was approached by the fraternity about being initiated earlier this year.

Fraternity chief executive Kevin Mayeux says leaders of the organization have been impressed with Huckabee's character and the job he's done as governor.

A southern Baptist minister, Huckabee never belonged to a fraternity while in school but his son, David, joined Tau Kappa Epsilon at Arkansas State University.

By being initiated into the fraternity, Huckabee will join the list of other members -- such as Ronald Reagan and Elvis Presley. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz and Home Depot CEO Bob Nardelli are also among the group's members.
