The stamp gets Christmas vacation a little early and our suspects get a break. No arrests this week. That means we end 2006 with 284 total arrests.
Now to our crime of the week. JPD and the owner of Xpress Mart in Jonesboro gave us this video. They are asking you to I-D the man in the stocking cap. Police say this man was involved in theft of about 15 hundred dollars from the convenience store. After watching the entire tape, detectives say this man was working with the clerk to steal that night's deposit. Police have already arrested the clerk.
If you think you can I-D this suspect, it's worth cool cash. Call police right now and tell them what you know, 935-STOP. Your calls are anonymous.
A lot of j's on Warrant Watch this week. A James, a Jon, and they are both Juniors.
Here's Jonathon d. Junyor. He just celebrated his 26th birthday last week. Now, he tops that cake with an appearence on Crimestoppers. The police would like Junyor to come in and take care of his 7 non-payment of fines, 1 failure to appear and 4 revocation of probation warrants.
Here's our other double j. James K. Seymore Jr. He's just a warrant shy of double digits. He has 1 failure to appear and 8 non-payment of fines warrants out of Jonesboro.
Help James Seymore Jr or Jonathon D. Junyor make their way to JPD and it's worth cash. Call Crimestoppers right now, 935-STOP and tell police what your know. When you call, you will get a tip number to hang on to. Then keep watching Crimestoppers and if you see an arrest in your case, call or email Sgt. Steve McDaniel at JPD and tell him your tip number, he'll tell you if it's worth some Crimestoppers cash. Give 'em a call, and remember when you see crime, call Crimestoppers, 935-STOP.
