LITTLE ROCK, AR - Arkansas first lady Janet Huckabee underwent surgery today to remove her gallbladder.

The governor's office says Mrs. Huckabee is doing well after the outpatient procedure at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

The first lady had double knee replacement surgery six weeks ago.  The governor's office says the gallbladder problem wasn't brought on by the previous surgery, but symptoms developed while she was recovering.

The gallbladder stores bile produced by the liver.
