Memphis Police Shoot Suspect in Dog Attack

MEMPHIS, TN - Memphis police officers shot and critically wounded a man who fired at them last night as they were responding to an attack by his Rottweiler dog.

The 26-year-old man had not been identified and had not been charged today.

The suspect was reportedly hit multiple times, and was in critical condition at Regional Medical Center.

The officers have been relieved of duty pending an investigation.
