BATESVILLE, AR - A marijuana cigarette has been found inside the Independence County Jail at Batesville, and authorities believe it belonged to an inmate.

A detention officer allegedly found inmate Guyton Winningham with the "joint" after smelling a strong odor of marijuana.  Jailers and Sheriff's Dept. employees then searched Winningham's cell and found a "green, leafy substance wrapped in a cigarette paper."  They also found other contraband items, including a cigarette lighter and a razor.

Winningham, 23, also reportedly refused a drug urine test.
