HOT SPRINGS, AR - Magic Springs amusement park in Hot Springs says it will expand its water park for the 2007 season as part of a $10 million improvement project.

The park says it will spend $5 million to build what it is calling "Crystal Lagoon" for the coming season in its Crystal Falls Water Park.  The feature will have three speed slides, four tube slides and a play pool.  Other improvements, including air conditioning for a restaurant and more restrooms, will also be added for 2007.

For the 2008 season the park will add a thrill ride.  Park officials say details on the thrill ride will be released later.
