State Gives Approval to Liquor at Another Jonesboro Restaurant

JANUARY 17, 2007 - Posted at 3:37 p.m. CST

JONESBORO, AR - If you like a little sake with your sushi, you'll soon be able to quench that particular appetite at the Fuji Japanese SteakHouse in Jonesboro.

Fuji this afternoon became the latest Jonesboro restaurant to successfully seek a private club liquor permit from the state's Alcoholic Beverage Control division.  The ABC board met this afternoon in Little Rock and granted the permit to Fuji, which was originally denied by the ABC late last year.

Fuji is located 2810 East Highland Drive.

K8 News had a crew at today's hearing, and will have a full report tonight on K8 News Nightbeat (10 p.m.).
