LITTLE ROCK, AR (AP) - The American Red Cross says blood donors are needed in Arkansas. The relief organization says the blood supply is at critically low levels.
Erschelle Newsome of the Red Cross Greater Ozarks-Arkansas Blood Services Region says all types of blood, but particularly O Negative, are urgently needed. In an emergency, O Negative can be given to a person with any blood type. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds or more, and be in general good health.
