BLYTHEVILLE, AR - A Blytheville company is to undergo a $40 million expansion and add 40 jobs.
Ipsco Incorporated is adding a segment to its pipe mill to produce heat resistant pipe for the oil and gas industry.
Ipsco produced oil and gas well casing and tubing, line pipe, standard pipe and hollow structures. The company also makes connections for oil and natural gas drilling production.
Ipsco says production is expected to start in the third quarter of this year.
The company says it picked its Arkansas plant for the expansion because it is close to its customers. The firm has plants in Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Canada and another planned plant in Texas.
