State, Feds Round Up 13 in Bootheel Drug Sweep

CARUTHERSVILLE, MO - Thirteen southeast Missouri residents have been arrested in the past 24 hours after a round-up of suspected drug traffickers by state, local and federal authorities.

The Bootheel Drug Task Force and Pemiscot County Sheriff's Departmenty led the sweep, which also included officers from the Caruthersville, Hayti and Kennet police departments and the U.S. Marshal's Service. 

The following suspects have been arrested so far...

-Henry Warren, 47, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance, two counts

-Cynthia Lawrence, 38, Hayti; sale of a controlled substance

-Shemika Williams, 25, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance

-Jonathon Taylor, 24, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance

-Reggie Starks, 25, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance

-Billy Griffin, 26, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance

-Edward Truss, 25, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance

-Willie Grady, 49, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance

-Brian K. Miller, 45, Haytil; sale of a controlled substance

-Deborah Miles, 42, Hayti; sale of a controlled substance

-Gloria Black, 52, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance

-Willie Campbell, 24, Caruthersville; sale of a controlled substance

-Earl Lanier, 34, Steele; sale of a controlled substance.  Lanier is already in the state's custody at a Missouri Dept. of Corrections facility.

Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell says more arrests are expected, as are several federal indictments.
