ROGERS, AR - Rogers police say they've arrested 30-year-old George Lynn Perez after a ten-year-old girl was abducted and raped on an elementary school campus 15 minutes before teachers reported for duty.

Police say the assault occured about 7 a.m. last Thursday at the Eastside Elementary School, where the victim usually boards a bus to be taken to another school.  Perez was arrested on charges of rape, kidnapping and a felony probation violation.

Perez was on probation from a previous conviction.  He pleaded guilty in 2005 to sexual indecency with a child and was sentenced to four years of state-supervised probation.  He also had previous convictions for burglary, sexual abuse, financial identity fraud and indecent exposure.
