JONESBORO, AR - Jonesboro Police are investigating a car fire that occurred on the Parker Road Wal-Mart parking lot Wednesday this morning.

According to JPD detective Rick Elliott, the fire appears to be the result of a small explosion of a mobile meth lab that was inside the vehicle.  The fire occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m., and a dog that was inside the vehicle was successfully rescued.

Witnesses at the scene say a woman, believed to be the owner of the vehicle, fled the scene.
