SNOW WILL DEVELOP DURING THE AFTERNOON...AND WILL CONTINUE INTO
THIS EVENING. UP TO AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF SNOW IS EXPECTED BEFORE
PRECIPITATION ENDS.

A SNOW ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY
TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

WINTER PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AGAIN LATER THIS MORNING...AS THE
NEXT WEATHER SYSTEM MOVES INTO ARKANSAS. A STORM SYSTEM ALONG THE
GULF COAST WILL PUSH MOISTURE INTO COLDER AIR ACROSS THE REGION.

IN NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE STATE...MAINLY SNOW IS EXPECTED.
ONE TO TWO INCHES OF ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION CAN BE EXPECTED IN
AREAS NORTH OF A WALDRON...TO PERRYVILLE...TO CONWAY...TO
SEARCY...TO AUGUSTA LINE.

IN AREAS SOUTH OF THIS LINE...AND NORTH OF A GURDON...TO PINE
BLUFF...TO DEWITT LINE...A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL OCCUR. THIS
INCLUDES THE LITTLE ROCK...HOT SPRINGS...MENA AND STUTTGART AREAS.
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES OF ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION
CAN BE EXPECTED.

ACROSS SOUTHERN ARKANSAS...A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SLEET CAN BE
EXPECTED. SOME SNOW MAY MIX IN AS WELL...ESPECIALLY LATE THIS
AFTERNOON. LITTLE TO NO SNOW ACCUMULATION IS IN THE FORECAST.

ALL PRECIPITATION WILL TAPER OFF THIS EVENING AS THE STORM SYSTEM
EXITS TO THE EAST. AFTER MIDNIGHT...SOME LEFTOVER SNOW FLURRIES
CANNOT BE RULED OUT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

LIGHT SNOW OR FLURRIES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE STATE FRIDAY AS THE
STORM SYSTEM EXITS THE STATE. HOWEVER...LITTLE OR NO ADDITIONAL
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED. DRY BUT COLD WEATHER WILL RETURN FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
