Another Thin Coating of Snow Covers Region 8

JONESBORO, AR - Happy Groundhog's Day, Region 8.  The good news is that Punxatawnee Phil did not see his shadow this morning.  Legend has it that that means spring is right around the corner.

The bad news is that another surge of moisture-laden air from the southwest moved into Region 8 again to deliver a thin coating of snow, which began falling early last night.  However, K8 forecasters say they don't expect any more snow in Region 8 for the next few days.

Most Region 8 roads are passable this morning, but some roads are in better shape than others.  Police are still advising extreme caution for any motorists that must be out this morning.
