Sharp County Man Robs Mammoth Spring Bank

MAMMOTH SPRING, AR - A Cherokee Village man has been arrested after allegedly robbing a bank in Mammoth Spring yesterday.

According to Special Agent Todd Shaw of the Arkansas State Police, 46-year-old Michael Brill of Cherokee Village entered the Mammoth Spring branch of the First National Banking Company and robbed the facility before leaving in a 1995 mini-van traveling south toward Hardy on U.S. 63.

Brill was arrested without incident by Hardy police a short time later, just after entering the Hardy city limits.

He faces charges of aggravated robbery and felony theft of property, and is being held at the Sharp County Jail at Ash Flat.
