Revenge Shooting

NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans police are searching for a 17-year-old who they say gunned down another teenager for revenge. Robert Dawson and his mother were Katrina evacuees who had been living in Dallas but returned to the city yesterday to start a new life. Around seven o'clock last night a fight broke out between Dawson and Clarence Johnson at a public housing development. Afterwards Johnson went home to tell his mother that he lost the fight. That's when investigators say she gave her son a gun and encouraged him to find Dawson and kill him. Johnson's mother was taken into custody early this morning (2/8) and faces second degree murder charges. When police catch Johnson he will also be booked on second degree murder charges.
