O'Charleys Delays Serving of Alcohol in Jonesboro

FEBRUARY 15, 2007 - Posted at 11:34 a.m. CST

JONESBORO, AR - Alcohol sales at Jonesboro's O'Charleys restaurant on Parker Road was to have begun at 11 a.m. this morning, but employees now say that won't happen for another week.

On Tuesday, O'Charleys bar manager Risky Hoskins told K8 News that the restaurant would begin serving liquor in its new private club environment today, but apparently corporate officials with the company told local employees to wait until February 22.

O'Charleys was granted a private club liquor permit by the state Alcoholic Beverage Control board in July of 2006.
