CHATTANOOGA, TN - Governor Phil Bredesen says negotiations over a new plant are still going on with automaker Toyota.

Published reports list a site in Chattanooga and one in Marion, Arkansas (Crittenden County) as the two finalists for the plant.

Bredesen said yesterday while visiting Chattanooga that he'll continue answering questions from Toyota and not speculate.

He said the manufacturer will make a decision soon.

The winning community will help turn out about 200,000 vehicles a year starting in 2009.
