JEFFERSON CITY, MO - A suburban Kansas City lawmaker was arrested for drunken driving in Jefferson City.

Democratic state House member Ray Salva of Sugar Creek was arrested yesterday for driving while intoxicated.

The Cole County sheriff's office says a deputy noticed Salva's vehicle weaving and also noticed that his state representative license plates had expired.
