PARAGOULD, AR - A unique Region 8 landmark is the latest addition to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Linwood Museum was constructed in the early 1900s.  Within its stately two-foot thick walls lie the rich and famous.  Legendary gangster Frank Nash was entombed there following a shoot-out in Kansas City in 1933.

Lighting and other improvements were recently made to the building by Paragould's City Beautiful Commission.

The structure is located inside the Linwood Cemetery, at the junction of U.S. 49 and U.S. 412 in Paragould.
