Teen Gang Trouble Shakes Up St. Louis Mall

MARCH 5, 2007 - Posted at 12:03 p.m. CST

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, MO - The St. Louis Galleria is considering new safety measures after a heated exchange involving teens at the mall this weekend.

The mall in Richmond Heights may require parental escorts, a policy that has already been started by other shopping centers.

Police say about 30 people were involved in the disagreements Saturday evening.  They say three arrests were made and no one was hurt.

Security at the mall was already stepped up after a fight last fall.
