MEMPHIS, TN - Memphis is singing the praises of its classic soul singers Isaac Hayes and Al Green.

The Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum is saluting the two men along with producer Willie Mitchell as part of the Convention and Visitors Bureau's "50 Years of Soul" celebration.

A reception honoring Hayes will be held at the museum March 17.  Hayes also will be recognized before the NBA Memphis Grizzlies game against the Chicago Bulls that night.

On March 22, the museum will host a similar tribute to Green and Mitchell.  The two men will be given a reception at the museum and honored before the Grizzlies game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
