Izard County Sheriff's Dept. Offering Reward in Cold Murder Case

MELBOURNE, AR - The Izard County Sheriff's Department is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Rebekah Gould. 

Gould's decomposed body was found off Arkansas 9 south of Melbourne in September of 2004.  Investigators believe the 20-year-old woman was killed on or about September 20, 2004 at a residence along Highway 58, near the Guion community in Izard County. 

The money used to fund the reward recently became available from an individual who has requested anonymity.

Anyone with information about the case is urged to contact the Izard County Sheriff's office at 870-368-4203 or the Criminal Investigation Division of the Arkansas State Police at 870-368-2136.  You may also contact the Stone County Sheriff's Dept. at 870-269-3825.
