House Could Vote Today on Paying for High School Students' College Courses

LITTLE ROCK, AR - A vote could come today in the state House of Representatives on a proposal to require the state to pay for tuition for concurrent enrollment.  That's when a high school student enrolls in a college course and receives both high school and college credit for the course.

Opponents of the measure say it will take away from money set aside for students to take Advanced Placement courses and exams.
