Arkansas Republicans Pick New Director

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Republican Party of Arkansas has picked Karen Ray as its new executive director.

Ray replaces Clint Reed, who served for two years and recently took a job with the National Republican Committee.

Ray currently serves in the Bush administration in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  She is a native of Mississippi and a graduate of Mississippi College.

Ray will begin work as executive director on May 1.
