Womack Back in Action at Capitol after Falling Ill

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Arkansas state Senator Shawn Womack returned to the Senate floor today after suffering what he called a cardiac-related incident yesterday.

The 34-year-old Republican from Mountain Home received applause as he came before senators to speak.  Womack said UAMS let him go at 11 o'clock this morning.

He said he did not have a heart attack and suffered no permanent damage.  But Womack said, "I have some lifestyle changes in front of me."  Womack is co-chairman of the Joint Budget Committee.
