ASU to Host Workshop on Protecting Children from On-Line Predators

JONESBORO, AR - The Department of Social Work at Arkansas State University will host a workshop on "Protecting Children from On-line Predators" on Thursday, April 12 at the Jonesboro Holiday Inn.

The workshops will be offered from 1-to-4 p.m. and 6-to-9 p.m.

Robert Farley, a consultant in crimes against children, will be the featured speaker.  Farley is a 30-year veteran of the Chicago-based Cook County Sheriff's and Police Department, and has 28 years of investigation experience in crimes against children.

The event is free and open to the public, but is limited to adults only.  To register for the workshop, contact Kris Barham at 870-972-3116 or kbarham@astate.edu.  The deadline for registration is April 10.
