Nucor Employee's Death Caused by "Environmental Asphyxia"

HICKMAN, AR - The Mississippi County coroner says a lack of oxygen in the air killed a man who died last week at the Nucor Steel plant in Hickman (Mississippi County).

The coroner says 29-year-old Casey Ryan Ray of Blytheville suffered "environmental asphyxia" at the plant.  Officials there say Ray was checking and changing filters at the time of his death.

The accident occured on April 5.
