Additional Charges Filed Against Michael Devlin

POTOSI, MO - Washington County prosecutor John Rupp files seven additional charges against kidnapping suspect Michael Devlin.

The new counts include sex charges and attempted murder against the 41-year-old Devlin, who's already facing a long list of charges in the alleged abductions of two eastern Missouri boys.

Devlin is charged with kidnapping 13-year-old Ben Ownby in January in Franklin County; with kidnapping 11-year-old Shawn Hornbeck in 2002 in Washington County; with several counts of forcible sodomy in St. Louis County, where Devlin allegedly kept the boys; and with federal charges of pornography and transporting a boy across state lines.

The additional charges accuse the former pizzeria manager of attempted murder, kidnapping, armed criminal action, three counts of forcible sodomy and one count of attempted forcible sodomy.
