Craighead County Authorities Bust Federal Drug Fugitive

JONESBORO, AR - A Rockford, Illinois, woman whom U.S. Marshals had been seeking for approximately five years was arrested late last night in Jonesboro by Craighead County Sheriff's deputies.

Sheriff Jack McCann told K8 News this morning that 60-year-old Judy Ann Goodson was arrested at approximately 11 p.m. at the Jamie B motel on East Nettleton Avenue.  In her possession was more than 160 pseudoepedrine tablets, according to McCann.  Pseudoephedrine is a common ingredient used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

McCann said the U.S. Marshals had been after Goodson for charges related to cocaine trafficking.  The sheriff said Goodson has family in the Jonesboro area.
