Harley-Davidson's Mobile Museum Rolls into Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR - What do you get when you combine the world's most passionate riders with the world's most popular motorcycles?  You get the epic story of the Harley-Davidson that comes to life in the Harley-Davidson Traveling Museum, an 18-wheel semi trailer packed to the axles "with raw Harley-Davidson passion."  And it rolls into Jonesboro for an 8-hour stay today.

The museum tells the story of how the Harley-Davidson legend has evolved, from the first Harley V-Twin engine in 1909 to the new Twin Cam 96 engine for 2007; the very first speedster that rolled off the assembly line in 1957 to the 2007 50th anniversary model.  The traveling display of motorcycles, personal photos, and memorabilia from the H-D archives presents the story of how a legend was created by one of the world's biggest families.

The museum will be at Harley-Davidson of Jonesboro (4500 Oliver Street) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.   Admission is free, but donations for charitable organizations will be welcomed.
