Bootheel Shooting Suspect Captured in Wisconsin

MADISON, WI - Pemiscot County authorities say a Steele teenager suspected in a May 14 shooting incident in his hometown has been located and captured by authorities in Wisconsin.

Judon Mayberry, 17, was arrested yesterday in Madison, Wisconsin.  Mayberry allegedly shot Brian Carter of Caruthersville early Monday morning.  Pemiscot County authorities are making arrangements to have Mayberry returned to Missouri, where he will face charges of four counts of first degree assault and four counts of armed criminal action.

Carter is expected to be released today from a Cape Girardeau hospital.
