Arkansas Gas Prices Break Record Again Today

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The average price of a gallon of gas in Arkansas again broke a record today.

The AAA says the average price of a gallon of unleaded gas was $3.16, up three cents from yesterday and up 41 cents from a month ago.

The national average today is $3.19.

The most expensive gas in the state is in northwest Arkansas.  A gallon of gas costs $3.32 in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and Fort Smith.  In the Little Rock metro area, a gallon cost $3.16, while in Pine Bluff gas is $3.17.

Texarkana has the cheapest gas in the state, at $3.01 per gallon.
